This kit includes everything you need to create a contemporary raffia wall hanging using the Mariposa stitch technique. 

The Raffia Wall Hanging Kit & Online Course (1 COLOUR) includes:

• Access to the Online Course “Contemporary Wall Hanging – Using Raffia & Mariposa Stitch” by Craft School Oz 
• 1 x 250g bundle of Tjanpi raffia or natural un-dyed raffia (enough raffia for a 40cm wide wall hanging)
• 1 x Chenille needle 

In this Online Course, suitable for beginning or advanced weavers, you will be guided  through the process of creating a stunning modern wall hanging using raffia and Mariposa stitch. You can return to the course as often as you like.

You will learn: 
•    How to begin your project and increase the size of your work.
•    Create different shapes, be innovative and develop your own unique designs.
•    How to finish your piece.

The raffia wall hanging is pictured here in the colour Tjanpi Black, but you can choose your own colour (one only) from our range of 14 Tjanpi raffia colours or you can choose natural raffia (undyed). If no preference is stated, the raffia colour in the photo (black) will be provided.
